I love the salt of the earth, I love the salt of life, I love the salt of love, I love the salt that is in you (Rino Gaetano)

Sugar is useless when it's the salt that's missing.
(Yiddish proverb)

Photography for me is not simply a push of a shutter button, but an opportunity to tell, through images, moments of everyday life with the awareness of immortalizing these unrepeatable moments, and trying through the composition to enhance these moments, so that the message can get straight to the heart of those who observe them, making them feel, probably, my own emotions and I think that these images of mine manage to tell the hard work of these people who with great effort and humility continue to keep alive traditions that are lost in time .

There must be something strangely sacred in the salt. We find it in our tears and in the sea.
(Khalil Gibran)

I am a 63-year-old boy born in Palermo in 1955, a teacher of physical and sports sciences since 1982, afflicted by numerous passions, for flying, for underwater fishing, for modeling, for painting, for poetry and as if these were not enough for last it came also the passion for photography, with which, for a couple of years, I manage to fill my free time, and give vent to my sensitivity, as it gives me continuous emotions that I can share with everyone ... I hope to continue for a while longer.

A wise person puts a pinch of sugar in everything he says to others, and listens to everything that others say with a grain of salt.
(Tibetan proverb)
